Invitation to Oyster

Wild Oyster Project has gone international! Last month we had the pleasure of being interviewed by the french television program - Invitation au Voyage (Invitation to Travel) a show about unknown stories in well known places. The film crew, consisting of dynamic duo Liza and Pierre, interviewed Wild Oyster Project and Hog Island Oyster Co. about the history and production of oysters in San Francisco. They were drawn here by the story of our famous oyster pirate turned oyster patrolman turned author, Jack London.

Oyster Documentary now available to Stream


Wild Oyster Project takes a lot of inspiration from the Billion Oyster Project started in New York and whose goal is to restore a billion oysters to New York Harbor by 2035. In 2018 a documentary was made on Billion Oyster Project and the students at the Harbor School who make it happen. First released in 2018, Take Back the Harbor is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
 
UPCOMING EVENTS

The 17th San Francisco International Film Festival is happening next month, March 12-15 at Fort Mason. The 4 day festival is full of films to inspire and motivate. Check out the film schedule here
 


Wild Oyster Project will be at Berkeley Bay Festival on April 18th to celebrate Earth Day 2020. We'll be there with lots of other vendors and organizations with hands on activities and games. Food! Live music! Boat rides! Fun for all ages.
